Enabling Members to do Better Business in Defence

What's in this edition...?
Hi there,

Who's enjoying the frank and open communication from and with Defence?

We've seen a massive leap forward in how Defence and Industry have been able to communicate in a new and deeper way since COVID-19 started. The 'ever-changing' defence landscape has also created a lot of additional opportunities for our industry as a result.

Navy released their RAS + AI Strategy 2040 this week, further pushing the need for and use of Autonomous Systems and Artificial Intelligence, see more here.

Please keep getting involved with the abundance of information and opportunities presented virtually every week... to learn more about how to become more involved in the defence industry.

As the Government continues to look into and plan a way out of the economic decline (as a result of the pandemic) we have received the new federal budget this week:

"A plan to save lives, cushion the blow and help Australians remain in a job."

You can find further information from the Treasurer available here.
The Minister for Defence also released a statement,
with more information here.

Below you will find some upcoming industry events, recently released industry opportunities and g
rant funding - that will all help boost Sovereign Industry Capability (SIC).
