Enabling Members to do Better Business in Defence

What's in this edition...?
Hi there,

As our nation looks to achieve seemingly insurmountable goals over the next few decades the Government, Defence and industry must work together as a team.

At this years Defence and Industry Conference (D+I) much was said about the need for action and also the actions being taken toward Sovereign Industry Capability, Australian Industry Capability and Content. We will all benefit by looking at this complex discussion with open eyes and from a global perspective. As an island nation we are somewhat protected, however need the global partnerships to thrive in a global economy, while working on ways to improve 'home grown' independence. The COVID-19 pandemic has established these matters as urgent, speeding up the development of near and long-term initiatives from the Government and Defence; a welcome sign for the defence industry in Australia.

In this edition you will find some upcoming industry events, recently released industry opportunities and grant funding; giving you the opportunity to be a part of the Australian recovery effort and Sovereign Industry Capability.

There has never been a better time to be a part of the defence industry as our Government invests heavily in our future as a nation. Reach out today, to see how ADA-Vic can enable you to do Better Business in Defence info@australiandefencealliance.org.au
